It takes about 4 minutes to download Focus at 28.8 kbps (972KB). Unzip the download file and run SETUP to install. Try the program out completely. If you like Focus, purchase it to gain access to all features. Otherwise, follow the simple instructions included in the help file to remove Focus from your computer. Focus requires Windows 95 or better.

Free Quote Files Quote Files - If you use Focus as a reminder calendar, you will want Quote Files. Both the trial and retail versions include a sample quote file of jokes, quotes, and anecdotes. Additional titles can be downloaded. The Focus trial version displays only the first fourteen entries in each quote file. For example, even though many quote files contain 366 unique quotes, the trial version displays only two week's worth. After that, it cycles back to the first quote.
Click on any or all of these titles to download. To install them, go to the Options Tab in Focus and click 'Add'. Remember  the trial version is restricted to the first fourteen entries of any quote file.
  • This Day in Science - Reports an interesting technological achievement or scientific discovery on the anniversary of the event. Quote file contains 366 entries.
  • The Turtle Tutor - Assorted facts on the natural history of turtles. Learn arcane but pertinent facts about land turtles and water turtles. It's really more interesting than it sounds. Quote file contains 366 entries.
  • Vocabulary Builder - Talk like you're smart even if you aren't! Or just see how many words you know. This quote file defines new words and quizzes you on previous words. The quizzes help with retention. Most words are from GRE practice exams. Quote file contains 45 entries. Definitely the most popular quote file.
  • Riddles and Jokes - A different joke or riddle for each day of the year. Some are even funny. Quote file contains 366 entries.
